About these terms

These terms cover text messages (SMS) between you and Pierre Massemble. By texting us, or by sending a message through the "Text us" box on this site, you give us your express consent to receive texts about your request and agree to these terms. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP or ARRÊT.

Who sends the texts

The texts are sent by Pierre Massemble, a other business, using a texting system provided by RingVan (RingVan LLC). RingVan sends them on our behalf; Pierre Massemble is responsible for them. Our mailing address is 1022 Place des Capucines, Laval, QC H7X 3K8. You can reach us at 514 961-3644 or info@pierremassemble.ca. This contact information stays valid for at least 60 days after any text we send.

What the program is

Program name: Pierre Massemble customer texts. Texts come from our business number, +15147000645, and are about your service request only. That includes: replies to your questions, quotes you asked for, confirmations and scheduling updates (for example, "we're on the way"). We do not send marketing or promotional texts under this program.

How you give consent

You opt in by texting our business number, or by filling in your name, phone number and message in the "Text us" box on this site and pressing send. The box shows this sentence before you send: "By sending, you agree to receive texts about your request; reply STOP to opt out." We record that sentence and the time you sent your message. When we receive your message, you get an automatic reply confirming it.

Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. You can always call us instead at 514 961-3644.

How often we text

Message frequency varies. You get texts only while we are handling your request, usually a few over a few days. You will not get recurring texts after your request is done.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard charges for text messages apply to every text you send or receive under this program.

How to stop

Reply STOP (or ARRÊT) at any time to stop receiving texts from us. It is free and takes no other step. Your request takes effect right away, and in any case within 10 business days as Canadian law requires. You will get one final text confirming you are opted out, and then no more texts, even about an open request (we will call you instead). You can also unsubscribe by calling or e-mailing us. Replying START opts you back in.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texting works with the major Canadian carriers, but delivery is not guaranteed.

Your mobile information

Your mobile phone number and your consent to receive texts will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with the companies that carry our messages (Twilio) and run our messaging system (RingVan), and only to deliver this program. These companies may store and process your texts in the United States.

Automated replies

The first reply to a "Text us" message is always automatic.

Privacy

Changes

We may update these terms. The newest version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
